Leigh Halfpenny could make his return to rugby on April 16, according to Toulon coach Bernard Laporte.
Halfpenny has not played since he suffered a serious knee injury in Wales' final Rugby World Cup warm-up fixture against Italy in September last year, after which he required surgery.
The 27-year-old is registered in Toulon's European Champions Cup squad, although the upcoming quarterfinal against Racing 92 on April 10 will come too soon.
"For Leigh Halfpenny, it's still too early," Toulon coach Laporte said on Friday. "For now it's not possible.
"The quarterfinal against Racing isn't a possibility for him. I think he'll be okay for the match against Pau. It's what we've planned."
