England fullback Anthony Watson faces RFU citing on two charges

Bath and England fullback Anthony Watson will face an RFU disciplinary panel on Tuesday to answer two charges following Bath's loss to Saracens.

One charge sees Watson cited for tackling Alex Goode in the air which led to him being shown a straight red card by referee Greg Garner.

The second charge concerns the events that followed the issuing of the red card.

The RFU statement reads: "Following the sending off Watson allegedly used offensive, inappropriate and unprofessional language and behaviour towards the Fourth Official."

The player will appear before a three-person RFU disciplinary panel on Tuesday April 12 in Bristol.
