Four second-half tries propelled Leinster to a 30-23 Guinness PRO12 bonus-point win over Edinburgh at the RDS.
Leo Cullen's men extended their lead at the top of the table to five points, but a late penalty from Sam Hidalgo-Clyne earned Edinburgh a deserved losing bonus point.
Two Ian Madigan penalties cancelled out Jason Tovey's third-minute opener as Leinster led 6-3 at half-time, a poor return given Edinburgh flanker Jamie Ritchie's 33rd-minute sin-binning.
But tries from Luke McGrath and Josh van der Flier, either side of a Tom Brown effort, catapulted the league leaders clear and Fergus McFadden's double had the bonus point secured with 17 minutes left.
Replacement Mike Allen squeezed in an intercept effort for the visitors, who ended the game strongly with another five-pointer from Sean Kennedy and Hidalgo-Clyne's closing penalty.
Ospreys secured the bonus-point victory against Benetton Treviso which they required to keep up mathematical hopes of qualifying for next season's European Champions Cup.
The Welsh side, who scored seven tries at the Liberty Stadium in a 47-10 victory against the bottom side, must now win their final two matches against Cardiff Blues and Ulster -- probably with bonus points -- and hope other results go their way if they are to make it into the all-important top six.
The Ospreys' tries came from full-back Dan Evans, who scored twice, No.8 Dan Baker, centre Owen Watkin, flanker Olly Cracknell, wing Hanno Dirksen and replacement Ben John. Dan Biggar supplied 12 points with the boot.
Treviso, who finished the match with 14 men after replacement Dean Budd was sent off for two yellow cards, scored a try from centre Alberto Sgarbi, with full-back Jayden Hayward kicking a penalty and Sam Christie providing a conversion.
