Dom Waldouck signs for Pro Rugby's Ohio

London Irish centre Dom Waldouck has become the latest player to sign up for the inaugural US Pro Rugby league.

Waldouck will play for Ohio in the tournament that starts on Sunday when Sacramento face San Francisco on Bonney Field. He joins the likes of All Black Mils Muliaina in committing to the league and is looking forward to making the move.

"I enjoyed my time at London Irish, but the opportunity to go and play in the States was too great to ignore," Waldouck said. "I would like to thank the London Irish supporters and I wish everyone at the club all the very best for the remainder of the season and beyond."

London Irish boss Glenn Delaney added: "This is a great opportunity for Dominic to embark on a new challenge in his career and we fully support him on his decision to compete in the American League."
