Who has the best win-rate among Springbok coaches?

Excluding Gerrie Sonnekus, who was appointed in 1993 but never took up the appointment, Allister Coetzee is the twelfth coach to prepare South African Test teams since the end of apartheid in 1992.

The only Springbok coach with a 100% win record in Tests was Kitch Christie, whose reign included South Africa's winning run through the 1995 Rugby World Cup.

Nick Mallett 1997-2000 P38 W27 71% win-rate

Jake White 2004-2007 P54 W36 67% win-rate

Heyneke Meyer 2012-2015 P48 W32 67% win-rate

Allister Coetzee goes into the autumn internationals with a 44% win-rate from his first nine Tests in charge (four wins from nine).
