Warren Gatland has urged Wales to target New Zealand's rustiness as the tourists attempt to beat the All Blacks for the first time since 1953.
Wales have arrived in New Zealand ahead of next Saturday's opening Test, an appointment that represents the All Blacks' first taste of action since the Rugby World Cup final.
However, the hosts will be much-changed from last October's showpiece with the likes of Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and Ma'a Nonu having departed the international stage.
"It's going to be tough, but we're not here just to make up the numbers, and we're not here to start the rebuilding phase of New Zealand rugby either," he said.
"We've looked at when the All Blacks have been rusty and I've said to our players to have a look at the Georgia game at the World Cup in Cardiff.
"There were a lot of mistakes made and they were obviously ring-rusty. They got better as the tournament went along.
"We've just got to go out there and make sure we start well and play well and stay in the fight against them.
"We know how dangerous they are, but like every team when you put them under pressure hopefully there is some small hint of vulnerability."
Cardiff Blues flanker Ellis Jenkins, a late replacement for the injured Dan Lydiate, could make his international debut in New Zealand.
"He is a real intelligent rugby player and had a very good season," Gatland said.
"So it's nice for him to have the opportunity to come out here and hopefully gain some experience and maybe get some game time too.
"If he's not involved in that first game, then hopefully he will get a chance at Hamilton against the Chiefs."
