Manu Tuilagi forced off injured against Saracens

Manu Tuilagi was forced off injured in the early stages of Leicester's Aviva Premiership clash against Saracens at Welford Road on Sunday.

Tuilagi was named in England's 33-man pre-Six Nations training squad on Saturday after returning to fitness following his groin injury.

But just nine minutes into Sunday's match, Tuilagi was forced off after sustaining what appeared to be a bang to the knee as he was brought to ground by the Saracens defence after a barnstorming run.

Leicester and England now face a nervous wait to see how bad the injury is with the Six Nations starting on February 4 with a Test against France at Twickenham.

Tuilagi has missed much of the last two years with his troublesome groin injury and last started for England on their 2014 tour of New Zealand.
